I'm writing geogram for off-grid conversations without internet

If would put your money on BNB on the last 6 years it would outperform bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency is NOT about casino-style speculation. If you want to speculate with coins then learn Forex since speculation is a thing for virtual coins.

The word "crypto" means "hidden" in latin.

You never got privacy with that bitcoin.

Snowden just told you the same thing.

McAfee said the same.

It was from the start a coin designed to make easier tracking of drug transactions. There is a reason why it isn't used any longer on the underground.

You don't even find it suspicious that governments are promoting bitcoin while at the same time shutting down monero which keeps on surviving at a good price.

You're in this field just for the casino aspect of the coins and that's OK, just avoid mixing that with privacy and freedom.

Monero solves this.

Yeah. Reminder that McAfee stopped using bitcoin and already used monero for real-world purchases years ago.

Monero solved that.

About time for maxis to understand why we stopped using bitcoin years ago.

Money in your wallet must be private. This was never a negotiable option for us because we knew this would happen.

Privacy and bitcoin? 😂

The bitcoin network is literally transparent, even Snowden on this very same text is warning you about government analysis of the transactions on bitcoin because of that.

The only private crypto currency used in the real world is Monero.

Because they literally talk about privacy while doing the exact opposite.

Next time try to understand why.

You are right. Maxis are fanatic evangelists, but I've never been kicked out from any group they control.

Even as I keep telling them that their coin of choice is anything but private and a casino coin at this point.

In that regards they tend to just keep a positive personality and be friendly. To be quite frank, both coins are useful for what they do best.

You need privacy?

Monero fixes that.

That will always happen. The thing is that you can pick your preferred source of posts from literally anywhere.

Unbounded choice of information and clients to access that data. Far more freedom than elsewhere.

It is a soft lie. They can always provide a different version of the website that captures your unlocking passwords when your IP address is interesting to governments.

Even messages shared here privately are more private than Proton.

You don't.

Folks around here programmed a wallet based on nostr addresses over the weekend.

Somehow it took Proton years to remember about this feature, and not even clear at all why one would use it rather than a private coin like Monero.

There is already no privacy when using bitcoin in the first place.

Kind of ironic seeing a blog post advocating for freedom and privacy, complaining they were chased by governments and PayPal to then pretend that Monero doesn't exist.

Way too suspicious.
