Had a similar story happen to us in Costa Rica. Left the bag unattended at 7am in the almost empty beach for 10 minutes and it was gone. Bye drone, bye phone 🥲

Damn, things are not looking great for Brazil then.
It seems like in Cuba they’re using it primarily as a SoV and for remittances. They developed an amazing telegram bot where you can find someone to do p2p buying/selling instantly. They also use it to make purchases in some places but that’s not a primary focus yet.
Plus, you don’t have to disclose anything to the govt if you don’t want to. It’s bitcoin, it’s F u money 😄

One thing I loved about Adopting Bitcoin 2023 was hearing about the many ongoing adoption projects around the world.
Communities in the Philippines, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru & all cross Africa are opting out and choosing #bitcoin for a better future.
