First off, how to activate the Spanish UI -- just update to this latest version, navigate to the "Language" option in the signer's settings, and from there you can now select Espaรฑol as an option. ๐งก
Work on this release has taken a meandering FOSS path, with nostr:npub1tv8gmfhalwnxxquxjzeh6gtdsdz6vg7vx0s3rt7s7uuw6aujh32qn77wn2 starting the initial effort more than 2.5 years ago -- nostr:npub177zfcmyscnl7805qtx7cn8v9607n3s9m096fl8nev5uzqdg6mruqshdp8e kept the flame burning for some timeโฆ
We immensely appreciate the instrumental help from Ronny Avenando, Max Apogee and nostr:npub12vdhd6ft2sfeq7jmlxcwk8penfjfqsz28n7n2ufw0tj0tjuwr0vsawdu57, two of whom also made their first PRs!
More western and English-similar languages should quickly follow (e.g. Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Czech, etc.). Other languages may take more time but work on them will continue...
Some translation teams have already been assembled, but if you would like to see if an effort to add a specific language has already been initiated (see image below)...
