What is it?
▶️ It is an emergency/FU fund.
▶️ You can use it in problematic cases like getting fired, getting a bigger unwanted expense, you really fed up with current job, etc...
Why?
▶️ Simply storing your savings in euro/dollar or equivalent fiat is not a good idea long term.
▶️ Holding euro means you lose your money because of inflation
▶️ Therefore you are incentivized to hold your money/wealth in something else, invest it
▶️ But usually investments are volatile, so you shall circumvent cases where you have to access immediately your invested funds
▶️ That is FU money for.
▶️ Usually a good rule of thumb is to have 3-6 month of monthly expenses in FU money
▶️ But this depends on how hard it is for you to find a job, what makes you comfortable, etc...

▶️ I added a button on the rewe webshop to sort the products by unit price
▶️ It reorders the products by unit price
▶️ It tries to calculate the unit price for the products not showing it
▶️ All original functionality stays the same
▶️ Now I can submit my rewe orders considering the unit prices easily.

Might be.
I think this shall be a personal decision. But you need options or the possibility to make decisions. In these cases you need money. But if you spend all your monthly income on starbacks you won't buy either of them.
And I am not sure if you need to go to a restaurant to have human connections. You can invite friends over e.g.
True. Financial independence, freedom and having options are also. Why not have all?

Why?
If you go to a restaurant, bar or coffee, you have to pay for more things: serving, ingredients, cost of place, popularity of place, etc...
If you do the same at home, you only have to pay for the ingredients, and most probably the ingredients will cost you less then you would have to pay at a restaurant.
Of course, going to a restaurant or something external have a different vibe. But you can also add vibes to your DIY stuff.
E.g.: Make a coffee corner in your apartment where you only drink your coffee. Only drink your coffee there once or twice a week, and prepare a nice coffee for yourself when you drink there. Now you vibed it up.
Possibilities are endless!
Just use your imagination, and save on going to coffeeshops, bars all the time.

Yesterday I finished the first version of "Sort by unit price" script for rewe(.)de. I also have such for 2 other shops actually.
Unfortunately it is a trend not to have unit price sorting possibility. I am not sure why, but I think better to use that then the "sort by price" to find the cheapest products.

Why?
The longer you use something, "the cheaper" it is on a monthly basis.
Only if you consider it as a mandatory cost. This means you consider this item as one if breaks you will have to replace it.
Therefore you can calculate a cost/month or cost/year for it. This can be lower for products selected by concentrating on price vs quality.
Extra tip: Only replace products when they are unusable. Of course use common sense and e.g.: do not use a toothbrush for 10 years.

Why?
Everyone has things in their life that has low priority or they do not even care about. Why would you pay so much money on the things you don't value?
E.g.: if you don't care about fashion, you can save big:
▶️ being minimalistic owning only a few pieces of clothing
▶️ or being frugal buying non-branded clothing.
(Or the combination of both)
Also here important to mention, that you shall really think about what you value in life. You might be suprised, that not the piece of clothing you like e.g. but the attention you get.
If you make such realizations you will be able to find alternative or cheaper ways of fullfilling your needs, do what you value.
