What a beautiful spot, thank you for sharing it 💕
Every time I think of the world beard and moustache championships i am overcome with jealousy.
I don't think it's true. Some of us prefer reading primary sources to listening to podcast bros shoot the shit about things they heard someone heard from some AI summary of a poorly written blog post 😅
What a sad statement! I love books so dearly 💖
Prophecy I got when given a remote viewing exercise that turned out to be th Vatican:
"Saturn consumes his children. The meek shall inherit the earth. They are the agents bringing in the weapon of their own doom. The children they tried to consume are the scions of their built up glory, Saturn will not inherit but fall into dust as long since they should have been."

That's good, I always try to have good relations with the spiders because they do seem deeply meaningful in so many folklores. But they still creep me out with all those skittery legs! 😅
Spiders a wisdom spirits that was 100% a sign, I got goosebumps reading this 🥰💖🥰
Fasting for a dark night of the heart is an excellent strategy, who needs added anxiety in that situation! These are very interesting, the taste requires some getting used to. But I then feel productive and can get some yardwork done even when I'm sleepy 🥱
Men get so weirdly jealous over how "easy" it is for ladies to get sex but like, neglect that most sex is not good sex for ladies. So why would we want it no matter how easy it is? If I could cum after knowing someone two minutes and two pumps then maybe I'd want sex more but alas. I'm going on 2.5 year dry spell here and that's ok with me 🤷♀️
Lent is over now! I am really proud of myself for how much I kept to my abstaining from caffeine. I only broke my fast on four days, all around my big move. I think that's pretty fair, it's hard enough driving a big ass truck with a trailer when you're used to driving a 49 cc scooter 🛵.
I believe I will still keep it up! I've gotten into these mushroom sodas they give good solid energy without disturbing my sleep at night too much.
Except of course when those dang coyotes come at night. I'll be having expresso after that next time it happens 🐺🤬🐺

I studied advanced economics in four different countries and not once did any class attempt to discuss his writing not even in passing, which does seem like an oversight to me. If he's so obviously wrong then it should be easy to point out why, correct?
Today I started week 9 of the Artist's Way. I had just written in my pages about how I still haven't been writing this novel (the reason I started the Artist's Way in the first place). I was resolving that I needed to be more disciplined and just grind out some words but then I read this week's chapter and was really struck by how much this part resonated with me:
"As artists, grounding our self-image in military discipline is dangerous. In the short run, discipline may work, but it will only work for a while. By it's very nature, discipline is rooted in self-admiration. (Think of discipline as a battery, useful but short-lived.) We admire ourselves for being so wonderful. The discipline itself, not the creative outflow, becomes the point.
That part of us that creates best is not a driven, disciplined automaton, functioning from willpower, with a booster of pride to back it up. This is operating out of self-will. You will know the image: rising at dawn with military precision, saluting the desk, the easel, the drawing board.
Over any extended period of time, being an artist requires enthusiasm more than discipline. Enthusiasm is not an emotional state. It is a spiritual commitment, a loving surrender to our creative process, a loving recognition of all the creativity around us.
Enthusiasm (from the Greek, "filled with God") is an ongoing energy supply tapped into the flow of life itself. Enthusiasm is grounded in play, not work. Far from being a brain-numbed soldier, our artist is actually our child within, our inner playmate. As with all playmates, it is joy, not duty, that makes for a lasting bond."

Just find a smart lady with a fat ass to give the lecture and twerk at the same time 🤷♀️
I am loving this series of notes! Keep them coming! I just started dreaming again (was a stoner too long) and now I'm wondering how to work up to lucid dreaming 🤔
There's a lot of theories speculating that is exactly how it started. The halos in early Christian art looks like mushroom gills. It would have gone hand in hand with the pagan philosophies of the era as well. The sacred mushroom and the cross is a good book about that.
The tradition she'll remember and keep is whatever brings love and laughter and good times. For us it was going to the beach. For you it could be anything, just be consistent if you want it to feel like tradition. Maybe focus on the spring time aspect of the holiday with baby animals and flowers?
Beautiful day today! Remember when clouds were fluffy and not lines?

Omg I am celebrating! 🥳🎇🎉🎊
I went on my first date in over two years, go me!! And uh no, this was not on the date. The date was relatively short, I don't think he was impressed. But I am still celebrating because I put myself out there in a new city!
Fairy Fire from Pangea Guild Hall, glitter blue drink that changes to a glittery purple drink 🍷💖😍
Dating is so painfully weird. Is there a Nostr version of a dating app? Or do we just harass each other

This was a really fascinating analysis! Thank you for being honest about the AI portion of the work, it's good work I just love to see citations.
One thing I would be curious to see included is labor of food preparation. Here we start the analysis with the 1950s basket of goods, and in the 1950s people still typically kept household help to do the cooking and cleaning. Or at the very least the domestic partner did this labor almost exclusively because it's a lot of work. A big part of the rise of processed foods was that domestic help became too expensive for most middle class families, then middle class women started entering the workforce in mass (women have always worked in lower classes it was only held as a standard to not work in the upper classes as there was a disdain for labor). Then there comes the issue of opportunity cost. If it takes me several hours to make a loaf of sourdough, and I could be making $X/hour in the workforce, then it becomes economically beneficial to the household to buy the processed loaf of bread and work instead of bake. (Especially if the negative health consequences of such processed foods are obscured.)
I suspect if we considered these factors into this CPI analysis we would see even larger increases in the cost of living/ decreases in the value of a dollar. Almost like we went off the rails in the 70s... Almost like there was a gold standard that we abandoned 🤔
Maybe I need to take my unemployed economist self and write up my own white paper on this subject!
