I did it. My kids are grown up now. My youngest never attended the kiddie prisons. No regrets. I don't call it "schooling" though. They are self-directed, independent learners.

That's the problem with labels. When you have try to describe what you do to someone, you have to deal with the person's perception and experience of that and therefore the resulting judgement placed upon you. I resisted saying we unschool for so long as many people I knew who said they unschooled projected an image of unschoolers that I did not want to be associated with. How to describe what you do has been a longstanding issue for many home educators. I've mostly stuck to home educating tbh.

There are documentaries, such as "Stink" and "The Devil We Know" that expose a tiny fraction of what these elites subject the planet to. That type of lobbying should be illegal and considered treason. Always follow the money. Is all about the money.

I don't think I have met even another home educating parent who really "gets it" like this! Not many people would have the courage to display this level of integrity and show the world how to stick it to schools and the system. Thing is though, in 16 years home educating, I never thought or seen that once. What I have seen is consistent evidence of the terrible and heartbreaking damage done to kids every day by the state (and private) school system. This is from meeting 1000s of families in person over the years and reading thousands of stories in online home education groups, where parents post looking for help and support.

I love that homeschooling is at the top of the list, as it should be. Teaching the kids liberty and critical thinking can't happen while people are sending them to the state indoctrination detention centres everyday 🙈

Yep and it's been hard for a long time. A lot of the younger generation don't realise how controlled and censored it is because they've never known a time when it wasn't. I tell my teen about what you used to be able find with internet searches "back in the old days" 🤣🤣
