This is what you call focus lol.

The guy has his Quraan memorisation on lock. No cat or any other distraction will make him skip an aayah lol

lol 😂

Maybe a chip in the brain that directly hooks up to Chatgpt would stop the above nonsense…doubt it

The latest FUD from some Muslims about Bitcoin (& crypto I guess). Can you believe this?

So they can’t deal with reality & the facts about ₿itcoin, so they have to invent even more nonsense…

So those behind ‘#BTC’ are into ‘astrology’ but those behind fiat are upon tawheed?

Ridiculous

In the light of Islam, kindness to parents is the key to unlocking countless blessings. Cherish every moment with them, for they are the gardens of Paradise beneath your feet. 🌺👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕 #LoveYourParents #IslamInspiration

Ribaa, the banking system, the hold it has on our lives, the jail it has us in…how we want to escape this ‘Matrix’ and be free from “The dust of Ribaa”…thank of that as you read Andrew Tates first letter after leaving jail…

👇👇👇👇👇

While sitting in jail... there were many thoughts that permeated my mind.

Incessant and persistent, some more enjoyable than others.

I could use my Iron Mind to destroy them absolutely and force more manageable contemplation.

But…

Sometimes, in places of absolute difficulty, you should allow the thoughts and feelings that come.

They are messages from the universe.

So I opened the iron door, and allowed myself to think what I thought.

Some days I would be hopeful, others pessimistic.

Both had advantages and disadvantages,

it was difficult to decide which mindset I truly preferred.

So, the universe decided to tell me.

I was stuck inside of a 3-meter cell, 24-hour a day lockdown, zero yard time…

Lock yourself in your bathroom without your phone or laptop and try to sit for an hour.

Then try 96 days.

After about 5 weeks I had the ability to finally choose a movie to watch.

I picked The Shawshank Redemption.

That movie hits differently from inside a jail cell.

Red said something while discussing the suicide of Brooks.

"These walls are funny. First you hate 'em, then you get used to 'em.

Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them. That's institutionalized."

That is the Matrix.

On a long enough time frame... many grow to love it.

In the movie, they talk about how institutionalized men are the ones who have given up all hope.

Red says "Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane"

He’s explaining how Jail (The Matrix) is easier to accept if you understand that you will never escape.

As soon as you believe there is another way, you feel pain. You feel frustration.

And this is the difference between pessimism and optimism.

If you truly believe you are screwed, the system is against you and you’ll never get out,

A strange sense of calm comes over you.

You feel comfortable with inaction because it doesn’t matter anyway, does it?

When I accepted I may never get out of prison, I felt BETTER.

Isn’t that insane?

When I was optimistic and hopeful that I was innocent I would look at the walls around me and feel terrible.

The hope made me feel worse.

I would make frustrated phone calls and read legal books and think of the best possible way to defend myself.

But, now I am free.

Maybe if I didn’t make those phone calls, I wouldn’t be.

Sure, if I had stayed defeated I would have felt better inside the cell.

BUT I WOULD STILL BE INSIDE OF THE CELL.

I NEEDED the pain and NEEDED the frustration to escape.

If you truly want to achieve the impossible, you need to be hopeful that you can finally be free

and you need to feel angry that you are still inside your prison cell.

A lot of you may think you’re not in a prison cell.

In jail, they decided when I woke up, when I slept, when I ate, and where I went.

In your life, your boss decides when you wake up and when you eat and your bank decides where you go.

You’re in jail.

You are not free.

If you believe there is no way to escape you’ll instantly feel better.

Like I did while I was pessimistic inside the jail cell.

If you believe you can escape you’ll become temporarily enraged… but you WILL escape.

You need to feel the blood in your veins accelerate as you look at those who live outside of all conceivable parameters

while you are ABSOLUTELY AVERAGE.

The most beautiful women on the planet and the most important men on the planet have precisely zero desire to speak to you.

You couldn't pay them to waste their time because you are INSIDE of a jail cell.

You’ve never been free.

What could you possibly know? What stories could you possibly have?

You are INSIDE of the Matrix.

These people design the Matrix.

They build your life and they control your life.

They have zero desire to interact with you.

You do not matter.

And you will never matter unless you become free.

The true story of The Shawshank Redemption is one of optimism versus pessimism.

Red, who is negative, is shown by Andy, who is positive - that even impossible odds can be overcome with careful planning, diligence, patience and HOPE.

Andy struggled in jail.

But Andy escaped from jail.

Red was too much of a coward to feel the true pain of enslavement - and this is why, he remained enslaved for so long.

Do you understand what I am trying to say to you?

Careful planning. Diligence. Patience and Hope.

- Tate

He has just been released from an actual jail…but I feel, even more now, that we (as a collective) are still in it. I see all those who moan about Bitcoin, complain about all the challenges there will be in adopting it, using it to be free, they are just those who have become used to the walls of slavery, and have got used to being in jail. They’ve lost hope in ever escaping, and feel pain from the optimism of bitcoiners and their idea that they can be free.

Help those people have hope, but don’t let their pessimism destroy your hope. Make moves, sacrifices, and effort to be free. Yes btc is volatile, yes it may add friction to your life, but at least you’ll be free.

Thanks. Make sure you keep it up. That one year badge is worth the effort.

Keep it up…I’m on 450 days with Turkish…

I would guess yuan first, as ties are being made and using yuan supports building those ties. But at some point there would be no reason not to use the most neutral money we have. It’s just the volatility needs to taper a bit more.

What’s happened here is that there have been some activities mentioned here, all of which is not disputed. Yes, which currency I choose to use in an exchange is between me and whoever, and if someone promises to give me some bounty on the completion of some work that’s all good. Taxes, as a Muslim I don’t agree with that either as that’s an overstep from the gov. But let’s switch the situation. Say someone announces a bounty, you fulfil it and then they refuse to pay, or you pay for an item and it was clear they cheated you or left out important information about it, you now need the state to step in and resolve that according to some sort of rules. That’s my point. You cannot fully separate state from the economy as the role of the state is to resolve disputes. That’s one of their largest jobs they’ve been tasked with and makes us different from living in a ‘mad max’ situation where we can only enforce things with the weapons we carry on our sides and how fast we can draw it.

Bitcoin is only a tool used to facilitate an exchange of value for goods and services, it cannot guarantee anything outside of that exchange. ₿itcoin cannot verify that a refund is due nor can it see or someone was cheated in a transaction. It can only carry value.

Sounds nice, but what does it really mean? Just like with religion, there is an overlap where it and the gov overlap. How do you resolve financial disputes? Hope does commerce take place? What are the rules of engagement? When does someone have the right of refund, etc? None of which is explained here, Abbas this is the problem I have with these types of claims. I do agree that the gov shouldn’t be involved in everything, but that doesn’t equal being involved in nothing.

This is a reply to the following Question

https://twitter.com/benjamindionbtc/status/1640926624144130048?s=46&t=AeUubJVXjsWeffPXQIjUGA

It needs to be understood that a ‘fatwaa’ isn’t anything ‘special’ in Islam besides just an ‘opinion’ of an individual (albeit an individual of knowledge). In the west, a fatwaa is often portrayed as some special legal ruling that has some religious weight to it, almost like an ‘ex cathedra’ or an ‘infallible statement’. It really isn’t. The most that can be said is that it’s a “statement from knowledge that’s more likely true but not necessarily”.

There are essentially three levels of religious rulings in Islamic traditions, none of them speak with absolute Islamic authority.

1) Qadhaa, which is the decision of a legal judge. This is specifically given in the court of law & is executed as given as a means to resolve disputes amongst people. They are implemented on a case by case basis & not generic to everyone & everything.

2) Tah.keem, this is simply a lesser version of 1. When disputing parties want a third party to resolve that dispute but not in a government capacity, they can choose that third party to make a decision. Again, just like 1, it is case by case & not binding on all people & places, only on those that agreed to it prior. The reason why it’s separate is bcoz one has to ‘self impose’ that upon themselves & there is no government to enforce it (although a gov may recognise it).

3) Fatwaa, which is just a legal opinion, & is the weakest of the three in terms of enforcement bcoz there is no gov to enforce it, nor are you obliged to follow any specific fatwaa based upon any prior promise to do so. You simply ask ‘a scholar’ his opinion & his ‘opinion’ is his ‘fatwaa’. You can choose to follow it or not, it’s up to you as a Muslim (or gov official).

Now, whether they give evidence for their opinion, source their references is entirely up to them as they are simply answering a question. Some may choose to give it while others will just answer & be done with it. Bcoz you don’t have to follow them, theirs no added reason to give extra info if they don’t want to. As a Muslim one could choose to follow their view based upon the fact that they are ‘scholars’ & that’s fine, but one may choose not to until evidence is revealed to support their view, & that’s fine also.

So back to the issue of ₿itcoin & the gov, then a gov may want to know what the Islamic ruling of ₿itcoin is, & just like us, they would ask a scholar(s) they trust, & based on those answers, they would enforce policies & laws accordingly. But the gov are the same as individuals in this regard. However, if the question came from the gov, they are more likely going to justify their views somewhat with some sort of evidence. That justification would most likely be low level & not too intense, & most likely would simply be a logical explanation without going deep into the weeds.

What does going deep mean? Giving verses of the Quraan, sunnah, explaining how they are a proof, looking at evidences from opposing views, looking at their evidences, justifying why the opposing evidence is weaker than theirs or invalid & coming to a conclusion that is in line with Islamic texts in their view.

That’s most likely only going to occur when scholars are addressing other scholars ¬ gov officials or the layman.

Things like this have already occurred in the Muslim world for a while now, at least more than half a decade, but most people have simply not taken a firm stance on it as most people have not seen a need to really address it. It’s like a question that affects a minority of a minority, &that’s fair. We may feel its more pressing but in most communities it isn’t. You will therefore find a more louder stance the more pressing the issue becomes for most people.

Sorry for the long answer but I hope it helps.

I’ve kinda addressed most objections from scholars on my YouTube channel
