For nearly a decade, Mu’aawiyah has been advocating for how Bitcoin and Islamic finance should be at the forefront of how we engage in ethical business practices, financial sovereignty, and fairness. A prolific educator, serial entrepreneur, and visionary, he is currently developing tools to empower individuals and businesses to harness Bitcoin as an ethical means of commerce, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all. Mu’aawiyah is part of a growing movement reshaping global finance through a values-based lens, rooted in integrity and justice.

Sincere apologies, this is how I normally talk lol 😂.

But on an interesting note, English “equivalents” are in most situations “not equivalent”. So I prefer to leave them in Arabic due to that. Let me explain it with a short answer and then end with a longer example.

In islam we have something called “Eemaan” which is often translated to “Faith”. But the way a Christian uses the word “Faith” is very different to how we use “Eemaan”. So you may hear a Christian say “That person is of a different faith than I am” but saying “That person is of different Eemaan than I am” makes no sense.

“Haram” is often translated to something Allaah has “forbidden” but there are many things that are also forbidden but not “haram” like cracking your knuckles while praying.

The point is, the Arabic words have very specific meanings that often don’t directly translate without first establishing how it’s different which is in my view more work than just leaving it as it is and then simply explaining the Arabic term.

So what I would suggest and agree with you is that I need to explain the terms more and not assume people understand them. It’s like when I use words like “Finding the nonce for the block” sounds like gibberish to someone who doesn’t know what a nonce is.

As for the long explanation, then watch this video to understand how ‘Ribaa’ cannot simply be translated to being ‘Usury’ or even ‘interest’.

Part 6 now ready. Apologies for the sound (if it sounds bad to you), that’s how it recorded and I’m not recording it again

Part 4 of the series giving commentary on my teacher, Shaykh Sulaiman ar-Ruhailee’s view on ₿itcoin

I think any nation banning ₿itcoin is just a litmus test of how bad their economy is. Trying to close off the exits…

Getting into part 2 of the series, what is money?

I’m gonna get roasted for this series…but hopefully beyond the chaos that may ensue, we can all derive benefit from it.

Not even transformers or Optimus prime is safe. The character with one of the most masculine voice in all cartoon history, has been castrated lol 😂. But tbh, the irony… “Trans-formers” lol 😂 https://nostr.build/av/66c5a1f89a23eb1d488b8f11b0ac148180de39a937caccb1c00754e07e2f1fbb.mov

Hopefully people get the message

We’ll be there soon…stack those SATs before then 😂

Translation of shaykh Sa’d al-Khathlaan’s latest opinion on whether #Bitcoin  is halal or not.

It is slowly happening, where the knowledge of Bitcoin is spreading, becoming easier to understand and therefore we’re getting more accurate fatwaa.

Is Bitcoin Halal? Shaykh Sa'd ibn Turkee's view

So…here goes. For those who want to at least ‘try’ to live the ‘hyperbitcoinised world’ now & start pricing things in SATs, then I’ve already shared the website that does that, but now you can make a ‘quick app’ out of it like the video I’ve attached.

https://twitter.com/c_hashreview/status/1652636625531224065?s=46&t=AeUubJVXjsWeffPXQIjUGA

So there are 2 ways to do it. The simple way is to go to the website (eg pricedinbitcoin21.com/landing), find the page you want, click the share button, click add to home screen & choose the name & it’s added.

But the problem with that is that you have no control over the icon.

If you want to be able to choose your own icon, you need to use the shortcut code I ‘made’. This shortcut can be used to turn any web page into an app. I also used it to make a ChatGPT app.

Sorry, this is iPhone only…

This shortcut will ask you for three things:

1) Name of the app

2) The url you want the app to point to

3) Choose the icon to use as the app (you need to have it in your photos app). If attached the icon template, you can add what you like or use whatever image you want instead

After taking those details, it will then go to the internet to generate a UUID, which is a random number to assign as ID for your app. If you reuse the same uuid, it would overwrite whatever other app is using that ID. You need to then add it to your profile & then it will show

Then the final product is on the Home Screen. This as I said before, this can be used with any web page you wish, but if you’re not fussed about the icon then just apples default method.

Is this a few days after the conference in Indonesia 🇮🇩? Which country? It looks like Japan 🇯🇵?
