I feel like the CC would be overkill for my personal needs currently, but at the same time I know itβs really future-forward thinking security, so the debate is endless in my head lol.
I def get that - I often have tried to figure out the key to that based on previous backgrounds, but the landscape is always changing that I feel like always playing catch up myself lmao. Iβm hoping one day Iβll be informed enough to comfortably onboard others.

Iβm really interested in the Q1 concept as well - batteries def being a caveat of it. That was my initial appeal of the SS - stateless and airgapped, but the HW security on the CC has some top notch specs. They both just have different approaches to security vectors, and my dilemma has been trying to figure out what solution is ideal to start with coming from a tech background.
I hadnβt thought of the bitkey as a kind of redundancy backup solution - but thatβs a really good idea for emergencies.

I think Iβve probably heard the most satisfaction from the SeedSigner and the ColdCard - Passport and Jade would be the next - and then Bitkey type solutions for newbies.
Iβm probably most likely leaning towards ColdCard or SeedSigner. My impressions are ColdCard/SeedSigner solutions = most secure compared to others, with minor trade offs of convenience for security. Interested in seeing how you like the ColdCard, thanks for the input!
