We need to enact laws to stop this, and they need to be enforced. Term limits? People like Martha Stewart went to jail for less than this.

Entrance reducer or no? Feeder or no? I’ve noticed that when it comes to #bees, opinions are like noses: everybody has one. My girls seem to be happy and healthy so far🤞

Agreed. Regulation by enforcement, not by actual regulations or by law, is not effective and not sustainable. Gensler is not doing his job and is putting the US in a position of weakness. Definitely moving toward a missed opportunity.
I’m really having a hard time figuring out why crypto is becoming a partisan issue in United States. What does #bitcoin and blockchain technology have to do with political partisanship? Is it about control? I suppose the Democrat party was the party of COVID lockdowns and forced inoculations, but is that really what this is all about? The Democrat party is the party of banning assault rifles. I suppose that is somewhat emblematic of control. However, the Republican party is the party of banning abortions. The Republican party is the party of banning drag shows. Both parties like their own version of control, and they detest the other side’s version of control. Crypto stayed non-partisan for many years, but I think that time is quickly passing away. I think that is bad all the way around. Cryptocurrency, #bitcoin especially, is for everyone!
What happened to capitalism in the US? You just can’t cancel or ban everything. Crypto (specifically #bitcoin) is an unstoppable force. The US needs to find a way as a nation to coexist and “capitalize” on the opportunities rather than try to ban and push them away, because that’s just not going to work. Blacksmiths were going to lose their jobs making horseshoes when cars came out, samurai became obsolete when foreigners arrived with gunboats, etc. Sorry, Gary Gensler and Elizabeth Warren, you can’t stop it and you’re at risk of serving up this opportunity to other nations on a silver platter.

#chickens humor 🤣

We are literally watching our supposed allies looking to China as the broker of peace in Ukraine. India and China are moving on, and the United States is allowing itself to be left behind.
After all the media disinformation censorship, the Restrict Act, the talk of a CBDC, and the immediate arrest of data leakers (all the while Epstein’s clients are still free), I find Murray Rothbard’s opening quote in “Anatomy of a State” so apropos.

That’s the old school way. I’m sure you’re right for freshness. I wash them because I know my kids won’t wash them before using. I’ll need to take your advise and have some marked as unwashed for me to use when cooking. Great suggestion!
Same. I’ll listen to it on Audible. Thanks!
Who needs to color Easter eggs? The hens take care of that all by themselves.

I just now noticed the new notifications on Damus. They are sweet! Thanks devs!
Here’s the text if you don’t want to click the Reddit link:
“It's like the captain of a sinking ship urging people not to get in the lifeboats because they undermine the confidence in the ship and might lead to everyone abandoning it.
The problem is it's true in a narrow sense - people getting out of a hyperinflating fiat currency does accelerate the destabilisation.
That's not a bitcoin problem - as long as there's any alternative to USD (gold, equities, pokemon cards), people will shift their wealth out of fiat however they can.
But our leaders shouldn't be asking us to go down with the ship in order for the Fed to save face. They should be looking after our interested and telling working people how to protect their salaries.
The job of a responsible captain is to give the order to abandon ship if that becomes the safest option in a crisis.”
Love this response to a discussion about Hillary Clinton warning of the destabilizing effects of #Bitcoin.
Beautiful sight in the morning. A storm is coming, both literally and probably figuratively, so I’ll enjoy the present moment. Happy Sunday nostriches! #chickens #bees

I don’t think there are many beers out there that I don’t like. I definitely like lagers. However, my favorite homebrew right now is a brown ale called Caribou Slobber. Very tasty.
Alex Gladstein nails it about #Bitcoin here!
