100 % agree with this, we have put to much emphasis on happiness while disregarding duty and meaningfulness as central life forces. Happiness can be a byproduct of the search for meaning and while it is a good experience it is not the end goal .

Do it, it is truly a wonderful experience, specially for the faithful. I would advise you to take the “caminho da costa” , it is easy to walk and the scenery is lovely .

Gosto muito dessa zona, passei por lá ainda recentemente quando fiz o caminho de Santiago e adorei.
