I have a lot of sympathy for people suffering from behavioral addictions and general lack of impulse control—I struggle with this still myself. In fact I believe addiction is the dominant challenge of our current era, co-created by the fiat system which drastically reduces the rewards people can earn from deferral of gratification and a virtuous life in general.

Reasons merchants have told me in the past they don’t support bitcoin:
1. Volatility compared to denomination in fiat.
2. Treatment for tax is uncertain.
3. General distrust of crypto, and Bitcoin placed in that basket.
4. Many govts have made it illegal for business to accept Bitcoin as mode of transaction.
If I was setting up a small tech company in Argentina, I would save in bitcoin, pay staff in bitcoin, sign contract with clients denominated in bitcoin. This way there is no volatility. As an experiment.
If a company saves in Bitcoin, not fiat, then denominating in Bitcoin might work to.
