I have a lot of ground beef, what should I make for dinner tonight? 👩‍🍳

TFW everyone’s talking about X and orbs and Barbenheimer reviews.

I really enjoyed those as well as Mr. Sunshine, Little Women, Kingdom and (on the cheesy side) Crash Course in Romance!

y’all ever feel guilty when it’s beautiful outside but you’re exhausted and just want to beach on the couch watching documentaries and k-dramas 🥹

Highly recommend Silo on Apple TV.

✌️🔥💜💭

okay last thing about me I’m obsessed with Gudetama✨🇯🇵

I have a FOID card, I guess it’s time I use it 😅 thanks for the rec!

Honestly now I’m too scared to go without some sort of defense. Maybe because it’s fresh and it’s never happened before in like 15 years of me walking this trail. Better safe than sorry I guess 😰

never going alone again that’s for sure 😅

It’s funny cuz we’ve seen bears from the car but it’s so different being exposed like that!

I was just walking on my usual trail when I heard some rustling branches a couple feet away. I kept walking casually, thinking it’s probably a deer.

Then I heard a loud grunt.

I know all the “black fight back” and what not but I was PETRIFIED. I got super hot and dizzy.

After the initial shock I slowly looked back to nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u who was about 20ft behind me and motioning to me not to run.

We began a brisk walk back to the car, the rustling moving parallel to us before abruptly stopping.

Hearts pounding, we made it home.

Moral of the story: be careful even on familiar trails, and be aware that sometimes you don’t respond how you think you might in a dangerous situation.

I *heard* this sentence without needing any context
