A couple of my working sketches (first shared eight years ago this week!) from the production process of our marathon nine-hour performance work ILIAD in 2015.
These show two of the main physical elements I used: 200 old scrap car tyres, and 400 identical white plastic garden chairs…

I want to see the complexity and not assume it’s a problem
I know it’s difficult, but I’m still exploring here, and global is the place I stumbled on all the interesting things I don’t already know where to find. I think it’s easy to talk about containing conversations within a community when you are already settled into a community that works for you… As soon as coming here stops feeling like opening a door onto the whole public net I’ll probably lose interest..

Sure. That’s what I hoped. But the slight textured ground between/around/through it are the other 4 letters layered up on each other, with varying transparency, and the S sitting on the top.
The grounds are just playing with example backgrounds. The corners of the graphic itself, beyond the curves of the ‘S’, yes. As it stands. They’re the other letters, eg ‘N’, below… if that’s what you meant…

Found myself pondering logos last night (while it was still too hot here to sleep!) and doodling around the clarity of the snort anagram.

Do watch ‘Casablanca’ if you haven’t. It’s often still unpicked and taught as a example of exceptional screenwriting. And interestingly, effortlessly includes more songs than most musicals -17 I think. But apart from that, into just a really good and entertaining classic film…
