Got it! Good point. We need Signal more. Forums should be sites like Stackoverflow that can be indexed by search engines. They should not be locked behind walled gardens.

Doesn't Signal have mostly the same functionality as Telegram? Except for groups where only the admin can post which are more like Newsletter subscriptions, both apps have 1-to-1 and group chats, no? Telegram just has a slicker interface, bots, and lots and lots of useless nonsense with stickers and stuff.

He was completely wrong about climate change though. Makes you wonder what else he spoke about with smug eloquence but completely wrong understanding.

I wrote a little tutorial on how to install Python in a professional way:

ie, there are 2056 cities in Germany, so this would be like each city has now 50 people jobless. 🤷‍♂️

They will just find other jobs?

My daughter is 6 months old now and does three hour afternoon naps. I finally have time for making coffee again, and for other small projects 😍

When following 200 people, there is always SOMEONE who comments on the popular thing as well. We would still be up to date about how the world is burning :)

nostr:npub1hea99yd4xt5tjx8jmjvpfz2g5v7nurdqw7ydwst0ww6vw520prnq6fg9v2 why the version jump from 1 to 2 for Sparrow wallet? Is there any incompatibilities?

Else, great to see you are also on nostr. All my followers should follow you, too!

Oh nice. Instant follow :)

I heard that AMD is working on something similar?

As long as there is nothing else on the market (other than buying multiple super expensive GPUs), I'll continue to be trapped in the Apple jail :/

Hmm nostr:npub1hxjnw53mhghumt590kgd3fmqme8jzwwflyxesmm50nnapmqdzu7swqagw3 did you add some new formatting to your posts?

Your recent post has become unreadable in my Feedly RSS reader 🤔

Makes sense. That was the original point of social media after all. Only works with following at max 200 people in my experience (and only if they are truly authentic people and not influencers soamming posts every minute).

Beyond that, the timeline gets too big to read and there is a risk to develop an addiction whereby one constantly checks back to see if there are new posts.

With 200 normal people, I usually find that one can read everything in about one hour per day.

Man this is so tempting... but with that shared memory, macs are still incredibly powerful to run LLMs...

...after reading your post and this thread, I now get it, of course.
