In most cases, it’s best to remove the superfluous.

Small distractions can pull attention away from the essence of an image - or whatever you’re focusing on. The same goes for photography. Sometimes black and white is the better choice if color doesn’t add anything. Having both options in your toolkit - and knowing when to use them - is what separates a “keeper” from a “non-keeper.”

I’m a fan of color - I love exploring tonalities and textures. But sometimes a photo just looks better in black and white. After years of looking at images, it often becomes a simple decision. It’s subjective, of course, but as Plato said, “the beautiful is easy to discern.”

These photos were taken yesterday on a quick hike with my Leica M262 and edited in Lightroom + Dehancer Film.

Feel free to use code “Pictureroom” for 10% off - I love the program:

Narrowing in! Remember to think about omitting the superfluous in framing. The last one with the semi seems most interesting to me. The color wall panels in the background creates some juxtaposition. Never feel afraid to crop either. Some may poopoo on that but when done well it helps

Best 4tb ssd. Been very solid so far.

Kinda. Would have thought at least one would with bitcoin park.

Just asked 4 different vendors at the tomato fair here in Nashville if they take bitcoin.

None of them did.
