I built a LN node a little over 2 years ago with a pi4... and with time that little node forced me to learn and it gradually built my technical self-confidence... today I dare mining fiat(stacking sats) doing what I love!

I also use desktop, Primal and Alby extension and don't have these problems. I would try to flush my browsing data, then if it keep happening I'd try also reinstalling the extension.
For me, when being in the middle of such a crowd, the reaction of the whole crowd is EVERYTHING, it's so much more important than all the eyecandy combined.
