The current android version is so early and proof of concept like in terms of features. I am wondering what the reason for the changes in the last few months not making into a release is. I thought the issue was getting it through the F-Droid review process. I would not mind having a flag in app with a big warning about privacy. My device always routes through a VPN.

We need to make use of https://nostrapp.link/ where you can declare your app of choice. Then Amethyst can use that record to offer urls for different apps.
As long as they implement many of the same NIPs amethyst does, it should work. We use Snort as default because it is largely compatible with everything Amethyst has (everything but chats).
The only issue is that the app you use/choose is not necessarily the app the receiver wants to see it on. In the end, you should choose the app the receiver uses, not the one you like.
That looks interesting. My use case is that I want to just share something which I find interesting with others who are not nosrtr users. Some content looks better on different clients.

Perhaps even let user add a custom domain in the settings list. Right now, it always shares using Snort
