Many pro life advocates see abortion as murder, certainly in latter stages of pregnancy.

To see what you have suggested above through their eyes, and to understand why your statement is not self evidently true to all, imagine someone else declaring:

"It shouldn't matter which state you live in, murder should be universally allowed."

I'm not necessarily arguing that abortion is always murder, but this is effectively what you are saying from the perspective of the people on the other side of this issue.

Thanks! Problem solved! At least until the next phase of the arms race...

All that brown stuff that appears to be caked on to it. Did someone drop it in mud?

I get this concept but there are also risks to weigh up. As much as we might hope and expect bitcoin to succeed, there is still a possibility it doesn't, or more likely, that it does, but something goes wrong for me that means I miss out. Such as human error, tragedy that demands cashing out at an unfortunate time, orwellian state interference, etc. And those potential risks give me reason to diversify into assets I don't expect will do as well as bitcoin in the long run.

I think that is probably the point of the reply guy spam, to highlight a vulnerability so it gets addressed before less friendly actors use it.

Coinbase custody bitcoin for loads of people and companies including most of the ETFs. The concern is that someone could hack Coinbase and steal all that which is around 10% of all bitcoin there will ever be.

That's really interesting, and an obvious option if they can get past the real challenges of running a nuclear power plant on a container ship, while also dealing with the massive amount of propaganda against nuclear that is so prevalent. Even in this article the authors say "Of course, you already know that this source is neither renewable nor clean, which is not a good idea, according to what we think."

Maybe it would be more productive to focus on the topic and the issues than the people. For example, Why do you think bitcoin is feature complete? I personally think it is inherently lacking in privacy at present. But perhaps the features bitcoin’s protocol already has are sufficient to enable full privacy on chain with appropriate workarounds? Or is privacy on chain not a desirable feature? I think it depends on what the use case is as to whether it is feature complete. I have no idea about what ctv offers, just putting out one example of where I wish bitcoin was slightly better.

You're telling the guy who has read more about bitcoin than anyone else you know, to go study more? Now I'm intrigued as to what kind of uber level bitcoin of scholarship level you must have reached to be calling out Guy as effectively being a noob.
