Oooops correction the above was Haleiwa. Waimea Bay is this bad boy. Waves get up to 40 or 50 feet Hawaiian measurements in good years. The Edie's happen here. I'd stay in the little in this photo ponisula in a little side room.
I used to stay out here on my time off for years with good friends I met. I knew a bunch of world class surfers. I'd tag along and do photos as they shredded the waves all along North Shore Oahu. This is a main area Waimea.
