Preinstalled Android is not privacy friednly at all. It can leak location through any network, say through the network provided by iPhone. It can determine location from GPS, bluetooth and WiFi.
But for me the main downside of this approach is that you need to take two phones with you. I only have place for one in my pocket. It is not convenient to take two phones.
So my solution is to admit that any phone is infected by all kinds of googles and governments of the world and just take this into account. This means somebody else controls all the data on the phone, but they use there powers rarely

I used the option "Add to home screen" in duck duck go and it created a shortcut on the home screen, which opens duck duck go with the page. Not a real app!
I tried with Chrome. It has option "Install app", which works as expected! Thank you!!!
PWAs as Tools to Benefit Future Development of Nostr
In light of Apple's recent actions against Damus and the broader zap functionality, concerns are growing among the Nostr community and beyond (thank you, nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m for highlighting this on the blue bird app).
As the pushback from traditional institutions - including tech companies, governments, and regulatory bodies - is likely to escalate, many are exploring viable alternatives. One of these, as recommended by nostr:npub1cmmswlckn82se7f2jeftl6ll4szlc6zzh8hrjyyfm9vm3t2afr7svqlr6f among others, is shifting towards Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). This strategy could help us break free from the limitations imposed by centralized app store authorities who dictate what can and cannot be incorporated into Nostr clients and other apps interacting with censorship-resistant protocols.

Unfortunately many people don't understand that by paying taxes they finance the state, which undermines freedoms of everyone. They think that paying taxes is useful to pay for common goods, like roads and public libraries. Try not to pay taxes and the state becomes tyrannical like it already became in many places where people understand that the state is not their friend. It then spends more and more on maintaining its own apparatus and on punishing disobedient and less and less on common goods
I would like to discuss how fiat money can be more transportable without trusting a custodian. How can you transfer large amounts accross borders in the same was as bitcoins? (I.e. without involving trusted third parties.)
Imagine you live in country A and then move to country B. You can leave some local currency in country A in the hands of your friend and tell him to pay for your future expenses in country A. He will be your trusted custodian!
Let's improve the example to eliminate trust. Now you give the guy your local currency and he gives you BTC of the same value. It's not a trade, but mutual custody. You store BTC of the guy and he stores your local currency. When you need to pay for something in country A, you send him BTC and he pays. This way you spend your own fiat, the one you gave him before. You can also accept money from anybody in country A via him.
Since BTC price changes, from time to time you need to change the amount of BTC you borrow from the second guy, so that you owe him the same value he ows you.
