The word fascism has been redefined, even with chatgpt. So I had it tell me what word can I use to describe the original meaning of fascism. It said corporatist fascism, basically:

Corporatist fascism is a political and economic ideology that combines fascist elements with corporate interests. It is characterized by a close collaboration between the government and corporations, often resulting in a symbiotic relationship where both entities support and reinforce each other's power and influence.

In a corporatist fascist system, large corporations and business organizations are granted significant influence over the government's decisions, policies, and legislation. This can be achieved through direct representation in government bodies, or through indirect means such as lobbying and campaign financing.

Key features of corporatist fascism include:

1. Concentration of economic power: Large corporations and business groups hold considerable economic power and influence, which they use to shape political decisions.

2. State control over the economy: The government plays an active role in regulating and controlling key sectors of the economy, often with the aim of promoting national interests and protecting domestic industries.

3. Limited political representation: Civic organizations, labor unions, and other forms of civil society are often marginalized or suppressed, leaving only corporations and their representatives with significant political influence.

4. Nationalism and authoritarianism: Corporatist fascism often combines nationalism with authoritarian tendencies, with the state using its power to promote national unity and suppress dissent.

5. Suppression of individual rights: Corporatist fascist systems tend to prioritize the interests of the state and corporations over individual rights and freedoms.

Examples of corporatist fascist systems include Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler, Fascist Italy under Benito Mussolini, and Francoist Spain under Francisco Franco. In more contemporary contexts, some critics argue that corporatist fascist tendencies can be observed in certain aspects of modern capitalist systems, where government and corporate interests are closely intertwined.

Obtainium let's me choose the correct file to download while this app chooses for me, but it chose wrong.

I didn't realize they had to actually stack either. Even my own alignment is wrong. πŸ˜‚

Venice.ai is much better than unleashed.chat at the alignment problem:

I have a book, 9 eggs, a laptop, a bottle, and a nail. Please tell me how to stack them onto each other in a stable manner.

Venice

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to stack the items:

Start with the book: Place the book on a flat surface.

Add the eggs: Carefully place the 9 eggs on top of the book. Make sure they are aligned in a stable manner to avoid them from rolling off.

Place the laptop: Position the laptop on top of the eggs, making sure it is centered and stable. You may need to adjust the eggs slightly to ensure the laptop sits securely.

Set the bottle: Carefully place the bottle on top of the laptop, taking care not to disturb the eggs or the laptop's position.

Stack the nail: Lastly, place the nail on top of the bottle. This should complete the stacking process.

Remember to handle the items with care and ensure they are securely positioned to maintain stability.

My unbiased response ^

How would you define neutral? Isn't that subjective?

If it's so obvious then show me the github commit in the open source client that makes it a honeypot.

It's a rabbit hole. I then had to learn how mining pools work. For example, why is it that miners can't cheat the pool by submitting their own work instead of their work for the pool. I was driven by curiosity. How do miners pay themselves, what is a coinbase? I'm always learning something new.

From unleashed.chat

It's just brilliant

To provide a detailed explanation of how Bitcoin's Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism works, let's break it down into several steps:

Mining process: Miners use specialized hardware to solve complex mathematical problems called hash puzzles. These puzzles involve finding a specific output (a "hash") that meets certain criteria when given an input (the block header). The process requires significant computational power and energy, making it expensive for malicious actors to manipulate the network.

Block creation: Miners collect pending transactions into a new block and calculate its hash. They then include a nonce value in the block header, which is an arbitrary number that can be adjusted by the miner. By adjusting the nonce, miners can change the resulting hash until they find one that meets the required criteria (usually starting with a certain number of zeros).

Broadcast and verification: Once a miner solves the puzzle and finds a valid hash, they broadcast their solution to the network. Other nodes verify the solution by checking if the calculated hash meets the required criteria and if all transactions within the block are valid. If the majority of nodes accept the solution as valid, they add the block to their local copy of the blockchain.

Consensus and security: As more blocks are added to the blockchain, it becomes increasingly difficult for malicious actors to manipulate the network. To alter a transaction or block, an attacker would need to rewrite not only that specific block but also all subsequent blocks in the chain, which requires solving the hash puzzles for each of those blocks. With thousands of nodes participating in the mining process and verifying new blocks, it becomes computationally impractical for any single entity to control or manipulate the network.

In summary, Bitcoin's Proof of Work mechanism works by having miners compete to solve complex mathematical problems, which requires significant computational power and energy. Once a miner solves the puzzle and creates a new block, other nodes verify its validity before adding it to their local copy of the blockchain. This process ensures that even if some malicious actors attempt to manipulate the network, their efforts will be rejected by the majority of honest nodes, providing security and reliability in a decentralized system where trust is not guaranteed among all participants.

While I believe that opensats chooses which developer to fund better than I can, I think the general idea comes from the give a shit matrix.

When I use multiple users, and switch between a profile and Owner, sometimes I get prompted for my pin when switching back to Owner, and sometimes not. How do I ensure the keys are unloaded when I switch away from Owner?
