Social media is inevitably heading towards becoming like television. It's not just that social media has been invaded by low-quality content, clickbait, and advertising. It's that the "Golden Age" of centralized social media has clearly ended.
Flotilla 1.6.0 is out! This release brings mostly stability and performance improvements contained in a freshly minted version of welshman (0.7.0).
I did find the time, however, to add a ton of features related to space/room membership and admin controls. As a result, Flotilla is now at feature parity with landlubber, which means one fewer micro app for me to maintain! Not to mention a bunch of features that were table stakes for group organizers.
Anyone signing up for new spaces via https://hosting.coracle.social will get all of this for free (other relay implementations will vary).

I really like Coracle, I think it's the best for groups, although it still has some bugs and lacks some features. I can't understand Flotilla, I've never found any groups there, so I don't use it.
I believe Facebook is already obsolete. YouTube and Instagram users have been asking for something new for a long time because these social networks have been increasing their rules and restrictions.

I really like Coracle, but I can't use it; it crashes a lot. I can't configure it on the relays page because it doesn't appear. It only appears after several page reloads. Sometimes it appears, and on the groups page, it's the same: my groups don't appear. Is there a way to fix this?

Não conhecia o nostrwiki. Familia Nostr esta aumentando sem parar.
O Nostr é a melhor rede social mas infelizmente esta as moscas. Ninguém conhece, ninguém usa. Falta apoio e divulgação. Talvez se alguns famosinhos e influenciadores de peso viessem para o Nostr e puxassem o seu publico para cá, as coisas mudassem.
