Food, my friends, is the express super highway to my heart. Especially for the kinds that don’t grow locally.

These oysters have had to travel from France by boat, plane, train, or lorry to get here in the mountains. Who cares, they’re delicious.

I agree. There are better options for value out there. I suppose it’s just my loyalty to buying Swiss made products.

I find Arc’teryx to be quite good as well. Snow Peak, a Japanese brand is one of my go-tos for outdoor items.

Sure. I’ll try to find them online. I purchased them from a store in town. I generally only buy Swiss made gear but Mammut and Kjus are a good start.

First time i hear about kjus. It's already interesting since i think i should have known this company.

I never had a mammut piece, i know they have good stuff but i think they are overestimated if you compare the prices. I mean i usually can't find any reason in quality that justifies the difference in prices. What's your opinion on that, i am really interested

My Mechanics is the only YouTube channel that I follow. Nothing else on there makes my heart flutter than watching this Swiss guy restore used forgotten things back to its old glory. Sometimes better than before.

Yes i have watched several of these videos and i take satisfaction too. But there is nothing more satisfying than restoring yourself old cast iron cookware 🧉
