Your "rights" don't include the ability to impose unearned or undeserved costs on another person.

If I am afraid of an uncontrollable airborne disease, I can stay home, or I can wear a hazmat suit when I go out, but I cannot lock others in their homes to address my fear. I cannot force medications on others to address my fear. Attempting to do so would only make me a tyrant.

If I feel like a woman, I can dress however I want, but I cannot demand that others like or withhold their opinions about the choices I make. I am not entitled to social support from people who disagree with my choices in any area of life.

The only thing my rights are supposed to afford me is freedom from physical harm. People can basically say whatever they want so long as they don't steal or physically attack or make direct violent threats.

These things are not that difficult to understand.

Is a fedimint a possible way to move the US dollar onto a Bitcoin standard? I don’t see why Bitcoin still couldn’t be legal tender, but could this be a simple way to get the general population onto Bitcoin? What are the pros and cons?

Ideally, everyone learns how to self-custody, but I know boomers who have 17 Facebook accounts because they keep forgetting their passwords and just create new accounts. I couldnt imagine trying to help them remember their seed phrases.

I think it would be awesome to be able to offer services like graphic design, web design, software development, voice recording, illustration, etc. for an agreed upon price. Sats go in escrow until job is completed in a 2 of 2 setup.

Have you read Inventing Bitcoin by Jan Prisker? Its like the perfect intro to "technical" bitcoin. You might already know a lit of it, but I think its a great book

Anybody know a resource that basically is a “Mastering Bitcoin” for dummies? It’s a great book but super technical for beginners. I wanted to get something like this into the hands of some friends.
