Good to know, thanks

I mean a dedicated phone that you only use to store your bitcoin.

E.g. if I get a new iPhone I could keep my existing one as a wallet

A phone that’s turned off most of the time is pretty much a cold wallet though. Granted you have to connect when you want to make a transfer etc

I was wondering I hadn’t seen him in my feed in a while and he last updated two weeks ago. He was pretty relentless with product updates too so hope he’s ok

Yeah it’s a possibility. People may see how much a creator is earning for their content and they may be more reluctant to zap them. I imagine when this becomes mainstream they’ll remove the ability to see the total zapped assuming they have the option

I occasionally see people saying hodling your BTC on a dedicated phone using Bluewallet or Samurai is just as secure as using a hardware wallet. Thoughts?

Are the weak paper hands who sold their Bitcoin last week rushing to buy it back again this week?

The Verge Decoder:

#Bitcoin is still the future of payments, says Lightspark CEO nostr:npub18m4nmc2wchzgcmzvnluqjzxyrpshp64mwje2vuz60kulny3v6c0qtgcl2x

David was previously at PayPal, and then he led Meta’s big payments effort that went nowhere, but he’s got a lot to say about where crypto and payments are right now.

"So we actually explored Lightning in the early days of Libra, and we spent time looking at it, and we had a lot of back and forth, and Lightning wasn’t mature enough at the time. We’re talking early 2018."

Habe you read the comments? For a tech publication they have some dumb readers 😃

Dalio’s latest article on the global economy and geopolitical outlook is rather bearish

Yes a “diverse range of people” clearly makes legacy social media discourse civil and polite
