I'm zapping people who comment on my notes with one-tap zaps and I return a day later and the zaps aren't there. Annoying, as I like to acknowledge people who take the time to comment and it feels a bit rude (that's the Englishman in me).
I'd rather have the old way back but be safe in the knowledge my zaps are going through.

I agree, revolutions are bloody and messy, and lots of people die. I'm not sure if hyperbitcoinzation as a revolution would be similar to past political revolutions. Could even be worse.

Our times are more spiritually challenging to find meaning and purpose. Back then, you didn't really have time for that because you had to work and there was no aspiration. The family unit was tight too. That said, some people do have it difficult today and there's no denying that. On the whole, though, it's much easier materially.
True true. That said, I was listening to a podcast the other day about the Russian Revolution and apparently Lenin, who was exiled in Switzerland, never anticipated the Bolsheviks would take control of Russia in his lifetime and he even made speeches saying so.
Yet, things unwound fast. Hence his famous quote, “There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”

Yeah, I often feel like that too. The sacrifices they went through. WW1 was the beginning of mass industrial warfare. Plus the industrial revolution which was in its heyday was great for productivity but terrible for the workers. How easy we have today in comparison. Sometimes I often feel people lose sight of that.
