So yesterday after deleting the JavaScript I'd written & starting over yet again, I also linked an online BTCpay server to my get alby so I can start playing with the features. Plan is to host my own copy soon, but which is better, on my personal machine where my node is, or on my remote hosting package?
This tool massively increases the sense of security on here - in the sense that, even if everyone purged your notes because you weren't around for ages, you reappear and boom, seconds later, all your activity is available again

Cheers, that was simpler than the guide I tried the other day...or I'm less tired - once I've finished downloading my new node and Lightning software (and Nostr relay) I'll install my own copy of BTCpay and self host that too - in the meantime this hosted one is good to play with

I don’t think this option is very well known, but it enables anyone to spin up an online store front within a few hours. While self sovereignty is the goal, more technical knowledge is needed to setup your own Node and then provide safe access to it from the outside.

Any good guides to node.js? I've installed it on my server and when I've gone to the terminal and entered the route I'm told it doesn't exist. Quite happy to start over, however many times it takes 😆
