Not irrelevant, I don't think that's the right word. I carry change specifically so test I can pay street artists. I do it because I want more of it. I don't think the majority will ever consider it, here, or in meat space - yet many of those same people will gladly pay for a ticket to an event, while walking on by the busker.

Two friends of mine go out busking, playing music for people's entertainment. They ask for nothing but accept donations. 99 out of 100 people will pass by, some will enjoy the music, some won't, and some won't care either way. Perhaps that 1 person in a hundred will put some money in the box. It's normal, I think, to see that behaviour replicated here. If the volume of users increases the same rule will hold true, but the amounts people receive will increase.

I don't know what a profile patch is, but as for the nip05 strike through, I wonder if that's how they indicate a failed check on the nip05? On Amethyst is shows a red symbol if the nip05 doesn't resolve.
It'd be handy if he did. 2020 could have been avoided...

I noticed you used the hashtag #privacy - the counter argument to your fair preference is that there's a clear distinction between what can be expected to remain private and what is public. Privacy isnt actually a default. To maintain privacy actually takes effort. Using that frame of reference, the responsibility is on you, as the person who wishes to remain private, to protect that privacy. Others can't be expected to alter their behaviour to suit other people's preferences. Therefore, if you're in public and don't want to get caught in people's camera view, you need to make the effort to ensure that you're not.

Mild electric shocks isnt an entirely daft entertainment idea. I'd zap someone on a livestream to electrocute them a bit. It'd be fun.
