Yes a joke in reference to their strict lockdown during Covid, I believe.

Countries by prison population.

I copy pasted it in url as temporary storage before moving it to a file. And now, the nsec is stored in some logs of Microsoft bing.

I haven’t used it but something feels off already.

That's wasn't meant to be funny but ok. 😂

Every alt-season in Crypto is a significant drag on #Bitcoin

This means we can spend less on base fees (and pass that onto you!), and also possibly reduce payment failure rates.

This is strictly an artificial problem. Why does a 100 individual transactions cost less than a batch of 100 transactions? What is being optimized for? Not the database size. Batching would lose instantaenous transfers and introduce an additional layer of complexity of keeping track of transactions for the end user for no real benefit. All node operators need to do is to set a fee algorithm that treats transactions regardless of their size.

What am I missing?

The development model of bluesky is a bit weird.

It's a closed system. People are required to provide KYC and their substack/twitter handle to get further insights as a developer. To use the app, people need to register their email to get early access. If it is just software, just release it into the public and let ppl run their own infrastructure. It looks more like traiditonal company.

I read on twitter that if everyone were to withdraw it might take until end of may to fulfill those withdrawals.
