It’s relatively centralized and the groups are NOT P2P, they are server based.
Messaging also doesnt default to P2P, you have to initiate secret chats for that.
There are also concerns about the encryption tech being “roll your own”
Assume every group has feds in it.
It’s just a metaphor for making the UI easy and lifting bitcoin and nostr up from a nerd only tool. Most people don’t give a shit about decentralization
