You donāt even permanently die in hardcore mode, you just lose your hardcore symbol and become a regular Ironman and continue playing.
There isnāt a permanent death, you can play hardcore Ironman but if you die you just become regular Ironman and lose the āhardcoreā status.
I like it, every drop or achievement feels more rewarding, it does get annoying having to get random items for quests and stuff, but I play for the grind
