Creating a successful FOSS CMS alternative has to be one of the hardest challenges to exist. You have four types of users:
1. Wordpress Maxis - As long as the majority uses Wordpress, they gonna stay with Wordpress.
2. The Wordpress-Fatigued - They learned to hate website creation and don't wanna touch it ever again.
3. The lazy, but Open-Minded - Will ask ChatGPT to build their website.
4. The true artists - Rather code their website from scratch.
So your target audience are the very few people left, who see the potential in what you are creating, which gonna mute you once you start talking about anarchism, freedom of speech and politics 😂.
My foss captcha library so far has blocked all attempts by bots, but also all others. Finally I can code without interruptions.

Even worse if you live in a country like Switzerland where $200 is roughly speaking equal to two hours of your work and are already used up by that two hours bootstrap meeting you had with that surely-not-perfectionist, looking-at-every-pixel, yet very pragmatist client.
