Two tips- resistance training especially bodybuilding type exercises focusing on hypertrophy and try tracking your diet -at least for a little while- with an app like chronometer to get a sense for how much food actually puts you in calorie deficit.
There’s some evidence a keto diet can help with bipolar. There is something weird going on with the number of bipolar diagnoses, and I suspect it’s related to food supply, but I have a super clean diet with zero processed food, refined sugar or grains, and I’m still bipolar so IDK what’s going on.
