I disagree. Because the Outbox only guarantees that you are able to find all notes related to some note you already see. There can be notes on relays, you are not connected with and you will never see.
Especially if you are searching for something, e.g. using tags.
The outbox model does not help to see notes from people you don't follow. But maybe it works because of there being only six degrees of separation? 😉

I grant the right to install, see the download bar, then verifying package, requesting install. The system popup to confirm the installation appears. I acknowledge it, but it just disappears and Zapstore displays a red error in the install/update button.

because you want to protect content against non-human visitors. That is the primary use of captchas.
- no more second factor - e.g. email - to restore an account
- no easy option to be anonymous with multiple accounts unless having a bunch of keypairs
- no getting rid of captchas because that is unrelated to the method of authentication
- no password managers but key managers and/or bunkers
