Maybe you could have gotten a steak dinner out of the deal. :-)

This sounds about right.

I’m eagerly awaiting to hear of the exit plans of all those people, famous and not, who excitedly threatened that they would leave the US if Trump was re-elected, as if this would be any great loss. It’s a free country. Make your move.

They still have plenty of time to F things up even more before Jan 20. I’m sure they will try.

What else is there to say about #coffee?

This is really interesting. nostr:note1q5kgyaqpk8rmmdh8xnvyufcv5vzzvmvrcfrwsp5pngh0yej53tnqlce9he

I get an uncomfortable feeling every time I put my printed ballot into the vote scanner and wonder if it’s changing my #vote selections as it’s scanning. We should go back to paper voting. 132 countries can’t be wrong.

The people who think that we need to limit disinformation don’t deserve freedom of speech at all.

I don’t mind Trump. He’s not a politician, and he doesn’t act like one which I think turns off some people. My wife couldn’t stand him for a while until she realized that he wasn’t full of shit as much as the media would like you to believe. She had a hard time with how he spoke, but she also came to the realization that he was relentlessly attacked from many angles and decided that she’d be all bent and lash out if she were being attacking like he was and still is. I have to agree.

Is the guy perfect? No, but he’s a hell of a lot better than the opposition which seems to have come unglued. They can’t win on policy so they have to steal and deceive in order to ā€œwin.ā€ This isn’t to say that the Republican Party doesn’t engage in dirty politics. Politics, by nature, is a dirty game. By the same light, I have often said that conservatives don’t really like conflict and generally won’t speak out unless we are really forced to which has helped lead to some of the problems we’ve got.

I do like your dream team. We might just get that. It’s a wild time, for sure.

We used to do the RO filter thing and it’s fine, but we switched years ago to an artesian spring water supplier, but we do have to go out and fill up our 5 gallon water bottles every couple of weeks. Not all areas will have artesian springs available, but I really like the taste of the water.

I was just mentioning to my wife yesterday that some days I think maybe I should give up this tech filled life / job and get into farming. I realize farming would be more difficult and more dicey than my programming job, but some days it just seems right to get back to working with the land.

Nice night out the back door here in northern #Ohio. Well above average temperatures. Clear skies.

Before you all think that I’m some rich dude that has a lake in my back yard, I live in a development with a HOA, and that’s just your basic rectangular retention pond. They won’t let us fish in it, not that it stops us from doing so. The pond is lined with houses to the left of this picture. Fortunately, to the right of this picture is a 30 acre farm that the home builders haven’t managed to buy yet so there aren’t any houses there. Anyway, we get some nice pics when they’re framed right out here that makes me look rich. I do own some #Bitcoin, though, so maybe I’ll be rich someday just from that. :-)

Breaking News: The #Bitcoin CEO is raising prices. He’s quoted as saying ā€œWe are in a crisis and must raise the price of Bitcoin to remain competitive.ā€

Stay tuned for more updates.

I never understood this position as a for-profit company. Why would you intentionally wreck your business just so you can try to get your most important candidate elected?

Now you’re seeing companies back pedaling because they’ve come to realize that their positions have been bad for business. Many of them are spineless and will do whatever gets them the most money regardless of what it does to anyone else. The lack of backbone is probably the biggest problem we have. Everything else would fall into place if people did the right thing.
