I guess I win a prize for talking about my real life. I just saddled another poor soul here with a small part of my life story.

I like Nostr, and I use it almost exclusively now. Don’t forget to add paranoid people to your list of types who hang out here. I’m certified paranoid. When I went through my marriage annulment through the Catholic Church, they had me have a session with a psychologist who told me at the end that I’m paranoid. Initially I was pissed about this assessment, but then I realized she was right.. I’m suspect of many people and organizations. Now, I wear it like a badge of honor. Being paranoid fits in well here and it fits in well with embracing Bitcoin. Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you. 😃

Slowing down time is the eternal quest. It’s arguably part of the reason why we have the problems we have in this world.

As for my kid with the health issue, he has kidney problems now, which from my read aren’t likely to go away and has some chance of being fatal. I am not a doctor so maybe I’m reading something wrong in the copious notes explaining his condition. He lives with her (my ex-wife) and she continues to push this BS including trusting big pharma and conventional medicine. I’ve effectively been neutered as a father. All I can do is try to arm him with the facts and pray that he sees the lies he’s been told and chooses to change course. He’s 17 so he should be able to understand what I’m saying somewhat. Anyway, I guess I wasn’t intending to saddle you or anyone else with my life story. Thank you for your kind words.

Ageed 100%. At my $dayjob I manage our Gitlab server, and Gitlab changed the default branch name from master to main sometime last year. I dutifully changed the default back to master. Nobody is offended by the branch being called master, and I refuse to participate in this idiotic fuckery.

I just don’t get that. I agree with you, but it boggles my mind the number of people I personally know who either just blindly took the COVID “vaccines” or were bullied into it just to stay employed. F* that. I realize everyone has to make choices, and I don’t fault people for making the choices they feel they needed to make, except for my ex-wife who asked my opinion about the COVID vax for the kids, dutifully ignored it, and willfully poisoned my children with that shit (she can rot in hell). Unfortunately, many people are paying with their health (including at least one of my kids) and even their lives. It’s just so sad. Some days I think this place we live in really is hell.

Pretty much, if you’re here you have a distrust of government, the fiat system, and most people. Don’t trust, verify.

Thanks for posting this. I am part of the aware crowd, but it’d be great to see more mention of just how bad seed oils are, yet they’re so prevalent in so many foods, at least here in the USA. This has to be the #1 reason for this country’s obesity problem. The normies don’t even think about. I doubt they know to think about it.

I stay away from artificial food colors, too. I’d like to get away from artificial flavors, too.

Find a dairy farmer and drink raw milk. I’ve been drinking it for years, but the US government villainizes it. Because nobody wants to get raided by the cops, we have to play stupid games to get our raw milk. It’s illegal to sell here, at least directly. You won’t find it in any store. Store bought “homogenized” milk tastes like garbage to me. As a bonus, I’ve never gotten mad cow or sick from drinking it. The claims of getting sick are greatly exaggerated when dealing with a reputable farmer of which most are.

Maybe we should be putting Nostr stickers with a QR code on them next to the Bitcoin stickers we’re placing around town. Why not? They go hand in hand.

Yeah I did this years ago with 23 and Me. Now it looks like it’s a sinking ship and as someone else wrote, you’re never really sure if they actually destroyed your DNA or not. However, I’m happy to report that I’m not 1/16th Mongolian. 😃
