I know plenty of people are bent about this tariff war, but it’s reciprocal. Plenty of other countries have had tariffs in various ways for a while on things we (United States) sell to them, but the instant we reciprocate people get bent. Nobody likes their entitlements being taken away and that’s how this is being viewed. It’ll be relatively short-lived while market forces adjust.

Years ago when I had a dog I would feed her turkey and she couldn’t get enough of it. Dog food she didn’t care for and would only eat it if nothing else was available.

That’s cool! I went to a school in Ohio with about 400 kids in my graduating class and we had no such thing. I suspect most of us had never driven a tractor, myself included.

For some reason my lightning payments are failing. Not sure why and haven’t had the time to look into it.

My wife is not a fan of this phrase, but I say it somewhat regularly. It’s not untrue.

In other news, there was an elephant seen walking along the sidewalk in my neighborhood today. It was an April Fools day joke played by the kids on my wife and their mother.

I hear you, and you’re not wrong. The reality is I’m coming at this from the position that I’m in with respect to holding Bitcoin, but what might be the right direction for me is not necessarily the right direction for someone else.

Accountability is key to staying on top of things. When you’re accountable to someone else, you’re much more likely to do the thing, whatever it is.

I started learning to play the violin myself a couple years ago having no prior experience, and I did make some decent progress, but because I’m not accountable to anyone I have fallen off the regular practices and I’ve become stuck at a particular level. I know accountability is needed for me to keep going further, but I have yet to make myself accountable to anyone else in this endeavor so here I have plateaued.

Short-term pain for long-term gain. It sucks that everything is down and still falling right now, but things should get a lot better hopefully in a year or so.

I actually had to see if it was April Fools day because I thought maybe this was a joke.

GM. It’s looking nice here near Cleveland, Ohio today, too. The current temp is a bit chilly at around 0 C, but it’s going up to around 14 C today which will be welcome since it’s been only about 5 C lately. Enjoy the day!

For some reason I can’t zap either but my channel closed a couple days ago. I opened a new one and funded it today, but something’s not working right. Using AlbyHub and Damus.

I was doing pushups for a bit but eventually fell off of doing them. It was pretty cool seeing the number of pushups increase slowly. I should get back into it again.

I was negotiating with a used car dealer on a Saturday and we were having some roadblocks getting the funding taken care of. I had the money but getting it to them proved to be a bit of a chore. I finally asked if they would accept payment in Bitcoin and they said that would make this all so much easier, wouldn’t it? Yes, it would make this a ton simpler.
