There are black market producers fucking this system too. The best of em fuck all the fiat systems...*whispers* at the same time

Fun fact. The engineering tables have been revised downward regarding loads that timbers can safely tolerate. Modern forestry management leans towards maximum production and quickest harvest instead of quality/density.

Nothing like lumber and timbers from old growth stock.

I suspect the load capacity of individual trees based on their specific growth characteristics could be something to look forward to in the future. Take a picture of the growth rings or something and get custom engineering data to optimize that trees usage/value. 🤷

Lightning channels are best established with people you actually know IMO. I've heard enough stories about LSPs closing channels without telling customers. Just a sats grab. Hook in with a meetup group and open channels with each other and some channels with larger LN nodes. Circular economies.

I experienced something similar like a week ago. I just assumed someone bought a weather balloon and tied a meshtastic to it. Seemed like a meshtastic thing to do 🤷

... It was noteworthy because I otherwise have no other connections where I'm at. Was hoping MQTT would help me get more experience even if it's not real meshtastic comms, but sadly no luck.

Or crashes into a helicopter.

Or crashes into another plane.

Or just fucking vanishes.

Feet on the ground. Don't even jump.

Agreed. We don't put much pressure on our fencing and our animals are pretty docile. I'm just getting a little greedy trying to bale graze too close to the fence to try and smoother some brush that I had to weed eat this past year. Lesson learned.

Replacing the post took about 2 minutes, but still need to transfer the wire over to the new post and need to get some soft wire to do that.

I've been bale feeding hay along a fence and the cows like to play with it occasionally and sometimes it gets pushed around. I went out this morning to check on the cows and they had pushed some hay through the fence. I noticed one of the posts looked bent. No big deal they are made to bend. But it ended up snapping due to the cows pushing hay into the fence and the cold temps.

First issue I've had with anything from the Timeless company, but these posts have a 20 year warranty. Messaged the company and got a quick response and they're shipping me a 5 post bundle to replace the broken post. No questions asked. Timeless posts ain't cheap, but the company has always been great to work with and stand behind their product. Buy once, cry once. Made in the USA.

Graphene OS. The only mobile OS for freedom maxis.

There is no second best.

The people want an audit of the Fed and the gold reserves, but they aren't going to want to accept the consequences of that decision and then they'll turn around with their hand out for stimulus checks. 🙄

If you aren't prepared to weather a Great Depression x2 then you should probably zip it since you're going to be standing in bread lines.

Your Bitcoin will not save you from the everything bubble.

Looks like some good lambs!

A few thoughts for you to consider:

Hay is never wasted. You're feeding your soil for better grass growth with what is trampled or left behind. It's probably cheaper and better than organic fertilizer options. We probably lose up to 25% of round bales to pasture fertilization by bale grazing our cows. I happily pay that for future soil production, which equals more grazing days later.

Holding lambs until June harvest will always pay off to your advantage. The extra hay cost gets returned about 3-4x the last time I did my math on it. You'll also have extra head to help consume the extra spring growth. The heavier carcass weights at 12-14 months is also desired among many customers we found. And meat quality is always highest when animals are on good quality grass, gaining weight.

Net wrapped bales if you can find them, stored on pallets or logs. I can imagine managing those tarps is no fun.
