I was against Hawaiian pizza for years... tried some recently and was surprised how delicious it is. Taste buds seem to have changed with age...

Well, even if it only has a limited usefulness in the wild, it was a great chance to dive into the Nostr NIPs and play with relays / events and zap transactions.

This week I built a "web zap" tool because I use Primal on desktop, and released it open to all to help other people stuck without zaps in their favourite Nostr client.

The default zap comment is "sent via nostrly web zap 🫡" to help bring it to wider attention.

The question is... should this also be appended after regular comments (for same reason) or does that devalue its usefulness?

How do you balance the need to make a living with building in the open?

Or how would you suggest those who still need to earn a living do so?

From the article:

The DOJ gave three rationales for the argument, all packed into a doorstopper of a footnote: (1) the government creates money, so you can't own it; (2) the government can tax your money, so you don't own it; and (3) the Constitution allows the government to spend money for the "general welfare."

Holy cow! The DoJ said the quiet part out loud...

"[They] argued that confiscating $50,000 from a small business did not infringe the business' right to private property because money is not property."

Do you need a better reason for using #bitcoin?

Is it a bitcoin bank holiday?

I'm pretty tech savvy, but was unable to connect a wallet and zap on my preferred client. So I built a web zapper tool to do it.

Zaps will rise exponentially when the wrinkles in wallets and clients are ironed out. For most users, it's just too complex right now.

Am finally able to send zaps...! 🙌

I had to build a tool to do it, but now it's ready, and I've been having fun the last couple of hours testing it out... 🫡

If you use Primal on desktop, or can't create a wallet on Primal mobile for any reason, then you might like my Nostrly web zap tool too:

https://www.nostrly.com/web-zap/

You just click the "..." in the top-right of a post, select "Copy Note ID #" and then paste this nevent into the web zap tool.

You'll then be able to zap the note from any wallet you like.

Let me know what you think of it.

Yes. It's a lightning facing eCash wallet, so you can receive to it via lightning, and your sats are stored as eCash.

You can then withdraw to an eCash wallet (like Cashu.me) and from there send sats via the lightning network.
