When money is no object and replacing the device is less of an issue than dealing with wrapping it in rubber.
There is also another train of thought. You don’t have to be rich, just pragmatic and if you’re going to make that kind of purchase, grabbing insurance for it is a logical move. Then you may be a bit more cavalier, knowing that it’s covered.
