With the impending #Bitcoin ETF approval on the horizon and with the ossification debate raging, we're about to see an entirely new class of "influencers" enter the space over the next several years.
Their sole purpose will be to push development that will allow tradfi and their "trusted partners" to develop wraparound products and services. It's going to be wild when companies like BlackRock are hiring ole Twatter Spaces hosts.
We'll see. I'd contend the price simply hasn't gotten to a point where people would feel any sort of validation to sell. A lot of those same "diamond hands, I'm hodling until I die people" will likely fold like a wet blanket when we're dancing in the six figure ranges.
I'd say this is a pretty significant problem. Everyone I've invited to Nostr from my local Bitcoiner Meetup gives up within a couple weeks because they feel isolated.
Pretty much the same handful of accounts dominates the feed and even their low value posts end up sucking up all of the engagement.
I'd love to know how many of those that rugged still have their Bitcoin. The early ICO playbook was essentially to hold BTC in their treasuries and many of the alts even reported on it and would sell off their token supply into Bitcoin and announce that.
