The average individual will never self custody their #Bitcoin or run a node.
They’ll allocate a % of their IRA/401K to it and leave it there in the bank/fund not thinking twice about it.
It won’t be until there is solvency issues or paper Bitcoin/re-hypothecation drama that they will wake up.
& by then it will be too late.
Maybe it won’t matter and it will be safe. But why take the chance?

Today is the anniversary of when the US dropped the atom bomb on Nagasaki, Japan in 1945 during WW2, killing 39,000 people outright & another 41,000 shortly after. We all were taught the impact of these bombings of course, truly a turning point in history.
