I would gladly pay for a service I use if it's really ad free and they would never collect or use my data. Here you pay to remove an artificial discomfort they implemented and they certainly still exploit everything they could to make more money with everything not visible by the user directly.
I hope it will just push more users to reconsider using these services and look for alternatives or just use their time in better way than social media.
My Mempool app still keep high fees like your screenshot while mempool space shows 2sats. Should we all have the same? How is it calculated?
12/24 words recovery phrase not passphrase sorry, I don't want to confuse newbies. Passphrase is the optional password on top of the 12/24 words which will derive an entiery new set of keys, never forget you passphrase if you use one as you will use your bitcoins even if you still have the recovery phrase. But Phoenx doesn't have the option anyway, doesn't make much sense for a hot wallet.
TIL that yt-dl was discontinued, and forked as yt-dlc which was also discountinued and forked as yt-dlp.
Man I feel old when I get outdated that fast. At least I understand while yt-dl was not working well last time I needed it. I use #NewPipe on Android to download usualy, it's the only app that I found (so far) that can download full definition with sound in one click.
Phoenix Wallet v2.0 Upgrade Now Being Deployed to iOS Users, Android v2.0.9 Released
"The splice upgrade is now being deployed to all users, on Android and iOS. Thank you to everyone who took part in the beta!"

Phoenix just need a PoS mode to become the number one #Lightning Bitcoin non-custodial wallet. Sorry Breez, still favorite for PoS but high fee, currency exchange problems, confusing and useless (for a merchant) Podcast function as well as cloud only backups (while we should educate to backup offline 12/24 words passphrase "seed" from the start) make it a clear second choice now.
Every year there is a kind of festival in my town where happen for 2 weeks a daily piglet race where each pig has a sponsor from a local company. I'm wondering if the local Bitcoin group could crowdsource the sponsorship of a pig. Going to ask the cost.
Everything is wrong about this chart, starting with the choice of imperial units.
I found one like this with i7 16GB ram and 1TB SSD Samsung Pro for 165$, I guess I was lucky.
Impressive but it still looks fake without a doubt.
OK it was not the router but the UPS that failed and switched off. UPS you had one job, prevent power loss and you switched off after 1min of power loss. You are dead to me.
My Bitcoin node is down because the washing machine+boiler+iron blow the fuses and apparently it killed the router.
Hope to find a workaround soon enough.
I tried both way but neither is working. I have the relay in Nostr, anything else I need to do?
Any li:k explaining what you did?
You mean data are encrypted by TrueNAS before being sent to Backblaze with rsync? Without sitting as an encrypted copy locally, which would double space needed.
I want to do this if possible but destination will be my old Synology that will be moved to another location later on and linked over a Wireguard tunnel. As I trust the place where the backup NAS will be, it's more of an extra protection than necessary.
Just finish installing most of the apps I want on my new DIY TrueNAS machine that should replace a 9 year old Synology. It's really great once you passed the learning curve.
Still have to find a good automated backups scheme, I had to make compromise here ad it's not possible to fully encrypt the backups with rsync but I'm almost there.
However I keep my Bitcoin node on a separate machine, I don't feel confident running all media apps togheter with Bitcoin.
Am I the only one who is scared to ask what are the Mc Spaghetti?
nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll's StartOS. Just download the iso and put it on a USB drive, then boot from that and install.
Yes I know this one, but then I will probably not be able to run my 2 games on the same machine. I might need a second mini PC.
