yesterday, Duitnow, a banking protocol in my country, were down. As an effect, all national transaction were moved to the slower, older system known as GIRO. for some reason even GIRO was down, so my transaction was stuck in a limbo. and today is a public holiday in some states so my transaction will be stuck for yet anotjet day.
and you complain that bitcoin transaction is slow.
doctor makes the worst patient, because we know and understand the prognosis
rushed to the clinic, got number in time. hehe
previously in my country, occupational medicine was a distinct specialty from public health whereby candidates taking Master of Occupational Medicine. The MFOM paper overseas were never recognised. now the ministry bundle up everything as "public health" and make a mess of the system
for example, there was a buzz in my country recently where the ministry of health want to derecognize specialist trained under the MRCP, MRCPh and MRCOG pathway. they only want to recognize those who underwent our local master program / phd program. what stupid about this suggestion is that, not only there are limited seats for master program / phd program, and you can only join a master or phd program as a government staff, and these programs are not even recognised overseas, my DrPH included.
at least MRCP, MRCPh and MRCOG are recognised globally
what funny is that, im my country, medical specialist s & consultants are very guarded terms, with legislative rights given to the ministry of health to award them to those they see fit.
however, the public perception truly differs from what the government has in mind.
it is probably not the "best" decision to some people. i mean, it was a highly respected university post and many people would want to be in my shoes, but i know my mental, financial and interest strength.
i dont think i want to do it for the next 3 years and the rest of my life.
i was initially under the ministry of health pathway done my Master of Public Health and doing my DrPH. unfortunately, with no funding for my PhD plus my newly diagnosed autoimmune illness plus a salary issue, i decided to resign from my university position.
the only thing i did not submit was my previous payslip. thankfully it was never asked.
in my country, Occupational Health falls under two different ministry.
under the ministry of health, it is a subspecialty of public health. you have to become a public health specialist by completing a DrPH program, which is a PhD. unfortunately, most of them in this pathway are researchers with very little working in the industry.
under the ministry of human resource, it is a set of competency credential alongside other form of safety & health licensing. for medical doctors, these includes Occupational Health Doctor (OHD), Medical Review Officer (MRO), Ergonomic Trained Person (ETP), Competent Medical Impairment Assesor (CMIA), Chemical Health Risk Assesor (CHRA). While these groups of people are not "specialist" per say, they are well respected in the industry.
they literally knows everything already π€£
in a rare scene today, a malay lady came to this eatery for lunch with short leggings and no panties. free visual oh well
i used to work (technically i am still) for the government, so i never bothered making an account, but now im going into private, i think i should. wdyt?
