The ones I've added are from notes where people post things like "Check out this relay I've set up. Let me know if there are any issues."

Most of the 50 relays I have now were added by clients, as I have played with a lot of them.

I also added some when a client wiped my profile clean. I looked through a backup file I had downloaded before, and just started adding anything that started with WSS, and looked familiar.

My personal philosophy is that the user shouldn't have to mess with relays much. The basics of adding/removing should be simple. The more advanced stuff should be tucked away.

Amethyst makes relays ultra confusing. That's why I basically ignore relays. Feel free to look at the relays I use if you think you need to add more. You can login to Nostr using my npub to see what my feed is like, what relays I have, etc.

It was caused by a solar storm, I think. It doesn't happen a lot, but it happens. Just be happy the flare that caused it didn't hit the earth directly. I seem to recall it being a doozy.

That was a few months ago when the northern lights were visible down where I am (just south of Washington DC, so it's rare). Everybody was posting their pictures, but I got nothing but clouds until then.

Take a look at the relays people that you follow use. If you like their notes then you want to be on the same relays with them. Then if you see that you are always having connection issues with one of the relays on your list then delete it. Rotate around

Winter Eyes - 2020

I started my digital learning journey with this piece. This is not a photo but a painting.

I was streaming the process on Twitch at the time, not knowing if this artwork would be great or a disaster.

This took over 72h to complete as I was learning how to use my small wacom graphite tablet. First time streaming, first time using a tablet, first time attempting a realistic painting.

This is why I'm so connected to this piece. It really holds a special place in my heart 💙
