never been easier to setup a node+LN

literally 0 command line actions and great UX

Recommend this to your normie friends. They can run nextcloud or nostr relay via the OS if they dont want a node+LN

start9 team, I got some feedback on onboarding process and a feature request, where is the best place to submit these to team? the github repo or you got some jira thing setup somewhere?

tell me you made a deal with the IMF without telling me

Sounds great πŸ‘ PRs are appreciated. Here is the issue related to cashu-ts update:

https://github.com/cashubtc/eNuts/issues/283

Performing a DB migration while staying backward-compatible would be great but complicated. I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. I'll post on social to ask because maybe we can "break things" and no one will care. Would make the update to latest cashu-ts easier."

STACK SATS & PET ALL CATS

Imma put myself on blast and say I'll support (to my owns content [no promises for your own reliability]) and fix all of nostr:nprofile1qqsxn2q9vlnek6umcu5z44v42yklpwqy0prpd0kmvg7pytadgg9zvdgeldk34 and make it up-to-date, since its my go-to #ecash wallet, for both iOS & android

Much thanks to nostr:nprofile1qqsqsc62wnyaz3rek33r3xesw62czhu6rz0gldhqtzujux9a8afhgpgpzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef08lhwy0 for creating this. Now gotta make it mainstream & useable for newbies (with advanced features like Tor).

No promises when I'll have a release for y'all but I use it too much to not improve on what exists πŸ’œπŸ¦Ύ

Please support when released don't zap me yet until I have something useable for you

I notified to telegram community

not sure you are on there but here is the link for all who want to support eNuts

https://t.me/eNutsWallet

epic!

if only this existed 6 months ago when I had to do this manually

feel free to tag me if you have L1 support questions on clients and user guides

I do this for the protocol, no one pays this kitty

If you are interested in the actual protocol specs, development work, or questions on how to operate a mint please check out the Cashu R&D matrix channel

CAREFUL HUMAN, THERE BE DRAGONS!

Cashu and all the clients are still experimental software, do not test with more sats than you are willing to lose to errors.

See something you want changed or fixed?

Open a github issue so it can be fixed!

How long has eCash been an actual, functional network? Chaum proposed it in 1982 and Digicash kind of made it happen but I'm interested in when you guys made it work for good. Was it 2 years ago or was it more?

It was functional in DigiCash iirc

It wasn't based on Bitcoin, but some database and a bunch of fiat.

When was the first cashu nut thrown around cyberspace? only calle knows

100%

nothing changes onchain with ecash, lightning yes because opening and closing channels are onchain UTXO.

both ecash and lightning privacy will improve as the networks grow and high anonimity sets, but lightning is not a privacy enhancing tech whereas chaumian blind signatures yes.

All this to say, you have some privacy within an ecash mint, less privacy when doing ln payements to/from the mint, then even less privacy when opening/closing lightning channels onchain.
