It would be great if groups on Flotilla (or Simplex) were actively bridged to Matrix and XMPP (maybe even Delta Chat). Until such time as we can all converge on a single protocol for decentralised chat protocol that ticks everyone's boxes.

You promote Matrix as being a "privacy" system to chat, but is not supported well in Tor. So running it on clearnet is just against any "privacy".
It doesnât make any sense.
So I just give up, I remove it.
Maybe I missed something here.

Why not host your group on SimpleX?
With SimpleX, you can just create the group, and share the join QR. It takes about 5min.

Awesome! I challenge all open source projects to at least set up bridging, so people can use a Matrix account to access your existing chat room.
