This is a truly excellent video, and a great overview of the last several hundred years of wars and assassinations, and why they were/are all caused by central banking. I'm posting it here for extra redundancy, but please share this with others, so they can know what we're all really up against.
In the past, things like slavery and the divine right of kings were just accepted as reality, but humanity broke free of that, and now they seem as ridiculous to us as they ought to. Now, thanks to #Bitcoin, we're breaking free of another ridiculous idea, which is the root cause of all other ridiculous ideas: central banking.

I went to a #Bitcoin meetup today, and my 9 year old daughter insisted that she join me. On our way there, we passed the Chattanooga Choo Choo, which is an old train station that was turned into a historic tourist hotel. She was delighted by its architecture, so I took the opportunity to teach her about how time preference affects everything we do, including the way we build things. She then started pointing out different buildings we passed, guessing (pretty accurately, I believe) which buildings were made before the era of the fiat banking system, and which were made after.
In her words: "I'm pretty sure ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต one was made before the fiat system, because even though it looks old, it looks ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐บ cool. But I think that other one was built more recently, because it's just...boring. And even though this other new one doesn't look boring, it's still kinda weird-looking. I like the really old ones a lot more!"

8 years ago today, my manager at work assigned me to look for good articles on MarketWatch, so he could highlight and discuss them on his local radio show. While searching, I stumbled upon a short article on #Bitcoin, and since I had heard of it once a year and a half before, and was told it was a scam, my first thought upon seeing this article was: "๐๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ข ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ?"
Fortunately, I remembered these wise words from Albert Einstein:
So, I decided to see how deep this rabbit hole goes. Many articles and Andreas Antonopoulos videos later, I was completely blown away. I had just finished listening to the audiobook of The Creature From Jekyll Island before stumbling upon that MarketWatch article, so I understood the problem, and I was primed to realize that Bitcoin is the solution.

My 11 year old son fell while playing on a playground today, and hit his head on a metal bar on the way down, giving him a pretty solid concussion. He's getting plenty of rest and fluids, and will be taking it easy for the next few days to a week or so, but if we took him to a doctor, they would tell us everything we already know, and to do everything we're already doing, and then charge us a bitcoin or 2 for their "services". This morning, my oldest son and I hiked what is commonly known among hikers around here as "the most challenging trail in the state of Georgia", the George W. Disney Trail. It's a 1.5 mile out-and-back trail of what feels like an almost constant vertical climb.
George W. Disney was a confederate soldier in the Civil War, who was killed in 1864 by a stray bullet and buried where he fell. A troop of Boy Scouts discovered the grave in 1912 and marked it. Here's a picture that I took of his grave today, as well as the view from the top of the ridge.
Yes! All money is time, but not all time is money.
When someone tells you that "time is money" (which is usually a passive-aggressive way of telling you to hurry up), it's an insult to your very existence, because it shows that they view the scarce time that is your life as nothing but a tool for their own benefit at your expense.
Both are scarce (now that we have real money, #Bitcoin), but money is stored-up time and energy, while time can be stored in money or forever lost in the past.
I have an idea for a sticker, but I don't have the tools/time to make it. It was inspired by this message on Reddit:
My idea would be a sticker of a very simple-looking graph (in a style similar to nostr:npub14hn6p34vegy4ckeklz8jq93mendym9asw8z2ej87x2wuwf8werasc6a32x's art), with one line going steeply up and to the right, labeled "prices", and another line going slightly up and to the right, labeled "wages". On the far right, between the 2 lines, would be a caption like, "Inflation makes you poorer. Opt out here:", and then a QR code to your website.
If you don't want to do that for a sticker, then I'll try to make it myself, if I get the chance. Just wanted to give you an idea. ๐
