If I could design one of those "In this house, we believe" yard signs, I would want it to say something like:
In this house, we believe:
- Yeshua is our Messiah
- God is never done speaking
- Husband and wife are complimentary opposites
- Children are adults in training
- Homeschooling is just another word for parenting
- Bitcoin is the only real money
- Medicine comes from a garden, not a laboratory
- Humility is the capability to learn and change
"โฟe not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
-Paul, in his epistle to the followers of The Way in Rome, chapter 12, verse ๐ฎ๐ญ
Always keep searching for truth, but if you're only ever searching by physical means, or with what God already revealed to others anciently, then you're cutting yourself off from innumerable life-changing truths.
My wife and I went out to eat for our wedding anniversary today, and I offered to tip our waitress with bitcoin. She ended up declining, but not before first staring at me blankly, and saying that she didn't even know what Bitcoin was.
We're still so early, and we still have so much work to do.
This is why I use #Bitcoin. This is why I have devoted my life to teaching whoever will listen (which is a depressingly small number) all about sound money.

Grrr...Nostr isn't showing it for me.
I mean in *this* film:

Pretty much all the protagonists who die in this film:

I love it! ๐งก I just added it to the Nakamoto Repository over at nostr:npub1tayp5jjjfqx4ufukxqamsl28wd5pggvteqe6u9n3svjn62lfr0hsp89l42, where it will continue to play a valuable role in speaking with the voice of Bitcoiners everywhere. ๐

Every August 1st, Bitcoiners celebrate the reality that it is the ๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด -- not the miners, or the exchanges, or the extremely wealthy -- who control Bitcoin. 6 years ago today, Bitcoin proved once and for all that it could not be co-opted or corrupted. On this day in 2017, Bitcoiners showed those who thought they had all the power that Bitcoin is not a democracy, but an anarchy, with rules but no rulers, dependent on the choice of the ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ท๐ช๐ฅ๐ถ๐ข๐ญ to run its protocol, not the collective.

From the #Bitcoin group on Telegram:
Secp256k1 is the name of the elliptic curve used by Bitcoinย to implement its public key cryptography.
All points on this curve are valid Bitcoinย public keys.
Here it is visualized:

Every public key
Is on this line;
One is Satoshi's,
And one is mine.

I am almost embarrassed that I only recently started paying attention to the survival podcast. It is really fantastic. Thank you nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n

I had never heard of this podcast before, but I just started listening to it, and now I'm wondering where it has been all my life. ๐
I think the idea that "all children are equally valuable before God" was more like what the American Founding Fathers had in mind when they said that it was a self-evident truth that all men were created equal. Unfortunately, that same meaning has been lost for most people today.
Many seem to treat the Declaration of Independence -- an exceptionally well-written document, created for the purpose of explaining their reasons for separating from Great Britain -- as if it were a legally binding document, and so they think that absolute equality is just the way things should be here in the United States.
But when that which was originally meant to mean "equal in the eyes of God" is misunderstood to mean "equal in the eyes of the state" by those who view the state as their god, should we really be surprised?
